In July of 2008 while attending my sister in law and brother in law's 40th wedding anniversary I had the opportunity to spend time with my husband's family. While on a walk to the park I noticed our niece's daughter sitting in a field of clover. Maitreya looked so sweet and content I knew I had to capture this moment on canvas.
