Getting Closer - The Finished Painting!

After much layering and changing the light in the water, I think he's done!  This painting will be unveiled, on display and for sale tonight, Friday, November 14 and Saturday November 15 at the Night of Artist "Christmas in the Quarters" art show.  The show is sold out Friday night and there will be no tickets sold at the door, but you can always stop by on Saturday, it's free.

Looking at a painting in a photograph or on the computer does not do it justice in the least, it's really hard to get the colours right, especially if there is a lot of blue or green.  I did my best photographing this painting, but to really see what this painting looks like, come and see it in person, for more information on the show, please follow the link below.
