I love doing commissioned paintings; especially ones that are as meaningful as this one was.

This painting was commissioned by Terry's daughters for their mom as a Christmas present.  I was so honoured to be asked to paint this for her and truly enjoyed the process.  Every few days I was able to send the daughters a new photo of the progress of the painting.  Finally, when it was done and framed I was able to send it so they could give it to their mom today, a gift and a remembrance of a very special man, a man gone 10 years now, but never forgotten and forever loved.
