One of the best things about painting commissions is working with the clients.  Julie approached me in the spring and asked me to take some family portraits for her and also told me she wanted to commission me to do a portrait of her husband Dale and herself for Dale's Christmas gift.  I was so honoured to do this for her.  We went through a bunch of photos that I took and both of us loved the one of Dale looking at her.  She also wanted to have the apple blossoms from her apple tree as a background.  She was so much fun to work with and I was so pleased to see the excitement in her eyes when she saw the finished product.  Thanks Julie and Merry Christmas Dale!!
